ABOUT MRS. SCHMITT

I am Mrs. Schmitt, your child’s new social studies teacher. I moved to North Carolina from Arizona this summer but am originally from Wisconsin. My Bachelors’ degrees are in elementary education and English, and I have my Masters’ Degree in Education as a Reading Specialist. I have been a middle school language arts and social studies teacher for 14 years and taught AIG students for six of those years. I moved to North Carolina because my son is attending college here next year, and I am very excited to be with Wake County School District teaching at Wendell Middle School.
